I traveled to South East Asia during the holidays and as much as the point of the holiday was to switch off from work, I couldn’t help myself. The country I visited was Singapore, and they have a very well known myopia problem, I think their stats are something ridiculous like 85%, ie. 85% of Singaporeans are myopic. They even have campaigns to get parents to make their children play outside instead of being on devices all day. Anyway, I noticed quite a lot of metal frames being worn, so it seems we’ll see a return of the metal frame. Plastic frames have been more popular for a number of years now, and I see this continuing, but I think we’ll see more people wearing metal frames in the next few months.
