Acuvue and Transitions have collaborated on a contact lens that darkens when exposed to UV light, just like transition lenses. This is a very exciting innovation, and I for one cannot wait to see how they work and look. They have just received FDA clearance, and should go on sale 2019-2020. Exciting, isn’t it?
