Diabetes and Vision

Poorly controlled diabetes can have a devastating effect on vision. The effects can range from fluctuating vision to complete, irreversible blindness. Fluctuating vision (some days clear, some days blurry, with the same spectacles or even without spectacles) is one of the telltale signs of fluctuating blood glucose levels, please don’t ignore this sign as a diabetic because it may signal a need to revise your diabetes control mechanisms.
