The purchasing of spectacles online is a bit of a controversial subject, reason being, most of the time, we need to guide you on how to use the specs. We have the discussion on how to use the specs once the lenses have been decided (ie. after the exam) but I find that it’s easier to explain how the specs work, when you have them with you.

Another challenge is how do you know what kind of lens you need? There’s quite a lot of considerations to make before we order your lenses, the frame, the prescription, what coatings you need, etc. I’m not sure who makes these decisions when you purchase your specs online. The personal touch is still very important when it comes to health matters.
