Diabetes is one of the leading causes of irreversible blindness in the world. A lot of Diabetics struggle with their diet and being active, so the condition tends to progress further than it should. It is my opinion that every single person diagnosed with Diabetes should get their eyes examined atleast once every year by the optometrist and once every 6 months by an ophthalmologist.
