Sunglasses serve a dual purpose; they are both practical and cosmetic. We use them to protect our eyes from harmful UV rays as well as to express our specific standpoint around fashion. Today it is possible to buy sunglasses from many different places, a vendor next to the road, to various kiosks in shopping centres, to optometric practices, sunglass stores, retail stores such as fashion and apparel as well as sports stores.

The next few posts will address the differences between the sunglasses you buy at the pharmacy for R50 and the ones you buy from retailers such as our practice for thousands of rands.
